The Auto-back washable filter (REDF) is designed for chemical reaction's where salt percipitates or activated carbon powder or catalyst is used
System Components:
The REDF system consists of a filter housing, filter candles, and necessary instrumentation for operation and monitoring.
Material Options:
Filter housings are available in SS 304, SS 316, SS 316L, Duplex, Hastelloy, or with PTFE coating/lining to handle various corrosive chemical environments.
Unique Filtration Technology:
Unlike traditional systems, REDF uses radial flow filter candles, where the feed flows radially across the membrane surface, enhancing filtration efficiency

Operation:
- Contaminated fluid enters through the inlet connection
- It passes through the filter element where filtration takes place in an outside-to-inside direction.
- Contaminants of the stipulated micron size are captured on the outer surface of the filter element and clean fluid exits through the outlet nozzle.
- Once the system senses the preset differential pressure or after batch completion, the brush mounting plate and drain valve are activated initiating the filter element cleaning process
- Depending upto application demand for back purging medium like compressed air, nitrogen, solvents & water can be used.
